Rajini's New project after Rana

Biopic on Rajnikant planned

MUMBAI: If all goes as planned, a biopic on an Indian actor will be made for the first time.
Going by the immense clout Rajnikant has on the film industry, film maker Agnihotri has decided to make a biopic on the South superstar. Rajnikant is Forbes magazine's most influential Indian of 2010, having temples built in his honour.

It is being said that Rajnikant has already given his consent to the project. Though nobody has been finalised yet, it is a given conclusion that Rajnikanth will not be a part of the film.

Agnihotri has selected a new director, Llyod Baptista, to handle the project. Baptista has earlier directed a few international ads.

Earlier, UTV had planned a biopic on Kishore Kumar but somehow the project didn't take off.
